Today we all know that Amazon is world largest on-line seller, But the first stage of Amazon story starts with many curves.Amazon is started at 1994 in july month 5th date from Jeff Bezos. initially the company with the name Cadabra, But Jeff Bezos changed into Amazon.com. Basically Jeff Bezos find the Amazon name based on the dictionary and settled on "Amazon" name, Because it was a place that was "exotic and different". Amazon is the biggest river in the world in South America with the length of 6,992 km.So Jeff Bezos completely gone with Amazon name to reach entire world by selling books. When Amazon is started, Jeff Bezos started to sell book is the first category. So the company called Amazon is begins its activity through online or Internet as a bookstore.
Now Amazon now generate over $61 Billion as Revenue and holds the title as world’s largest  online retailer was started from Bezos’s garage at the age of 30 years old. Today it ahs more than 97000 employees in the world.

One of the interview with Jeff bezos says his primary funding,

First starting capital for Amazon.com from Jeff Bezos parents and even they invested of their savings which becomes today as "World largest Internet retailer". Even the Jeff Bezos parents don't know anything about his business plans and when Jeff Bezos got primary funding from parents, Jeff Bezos father asked quaction called " What’s the Internet?”. After 2 years later stage Amazon gone public to raise additional capital funding at 1977 as by saying $18 per share. After few years at the year of 1999 Bezos is named in Time Magazine’s “Person of the Year”.
